Huawei and Chinese automaker Lantu reached an agreement
Huawei and Chinese automobile manufacturer Lantu announced that they have reached a strategic cooperation in smart automobile solutions within the scope of their new statement. Although the details of the agreement are still unclear, it is stated that Huawei’s smart vehicle solutions will be used in Lantu.
In the post made by Lantu, it was said, “Small words mean big things, see you on Monday” and winked at the cooperation. Huawei offers three models in the smart car field. Huawei Inside and HarmonyOS contribute to the infrastructure of companies through its smart vehicle platform.
The deal shows that Huawei wants to grow in sectors other than mobile and telecom equipment. Lantu, which is trying to develop autonomous driving capabilities, will use Huawei’s technologies in its own vehicles.
The new collaboration with Lantu marks the latest partnership in Huawei’s electric mobility move. It should be noted that it currently has various sub-brands with manufacturers such as Seres, Chery and JAC.
On the other hand, Huawei was recently preparing to launch a new electric vehicle brand called STELATO with BAIC BJEV. Trademark applications filed in China revealed Huawei’s plans.
